Instead I will share a picture taken two weeks ago while visiting Maine. My daughter and I had dinner at Vinny’s East Coast Grille in Ogunquit, Maine. Apparently Mr. Vinny has a thing for Marilyn Monroe – an interest that I share. Among other things, he has this life sized statue of her in his restaurant. Va-va-va-voom – what a temptress. Yet such a tragic life. I have a soft spot for people who seem to have everything yet feel like they have nothing. The human psyche can be an terrible thing.

An American Icon
In these waning days of summer I am not inclined to work on any of the multitude of projects that I have lined up. They can wait until the weather is not quite so splendid.
